Crabbysbeach. My new blog there is
a tribute to great lensmasters, so I'll be featuring great lenses I come across as well as lensmasters who contribute to the community.
I will of course keep up blogging over at squidtop with my

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of "
The Lensography Index" on Squidoo. It's now reached just under 200 lensographies, but I know there are a lot more out there that I've missed. Check this list, and if your lensography is not on it, please leave a link to it in the comment box, so that I can add it to the list. If you've more than one, leave links to all of them, and I'll add them all. If you haven't made a lensography yet, make one and tha…

Working on my
Image Transfer Squidoo lens has led me to an interesting art technique where people use rusted metal things to make prints on fabric, such as the example below from textureshandmade on Flickr..

I've been annoyed at squidoo groups for a while. What groups essentially do (especially the kind where hardly any lenses get featured on the group page) is funnel a LOT of link love to the group page and the lenses featured there.
That is: the groupmaster gets free links to their lenses, and the members don't get any wiser.
This is why I wanted to highlight great groups (you know the kind where your lens actually does have a chance to be permanently featured). I started my…

My family's recipe for eggnog came from my grandma who grew up in southern MIssouri. It uses egg yolks, powdered sugar, milk, cream and bourbon. I've always thought of it as southern style eggnog. It has been one of the major treats of the holiday season.
A couple of years ago I was making a new recipe for fruitcake bars and discovered that they tasted almost exactly like grandma's eggnog. I decided to use the main ingredient to see if I could make an eggless eggnog. It worked! It's amazing how…

I thought I'd share some of my squidoo debate lenses with you all... I have two. Both on the Hey Monkeybrain platform.
My first one is the question whether you all agree that
Low votes in squidoo should be banned!
The second more recent one is
Would you rather have a squidangel blessing or a quality link?
Hope to see some of your responses on those lenses :)

Today I am doing paperwork at my gallery, necessary but evil chore. I decided to cheer myself up I would spend sometime on Squidoo. My next two weeks are so incredibly full with events that I am not sure how much time I will have to devote to any computer time so I need to grab it now while I can.
Right now I am working on my lensography, which I am struggling with.
